George received his Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy in Sydney at The Australasian College of Natural Therapies (ACNT) and is a member of The Association of Massage Therapists (AMT).
He is trained in a number of Remedial Massage techniques including: Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy and PNF stretches (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation).
George uses a combination of techniques and will adapt each session to best address his client’s individual needs. George aims to treat the causes of musculoskeletal dysfunction rather than just focusing on pain relief. His aim is to provide an effective treatment plan to ensure fast recovery, prevent further injury and maintain optimal health and performance while also supporting the body’s own repair mechanisms. His treatments assist by promoting wellbeing, improved sleep quality and reduction in anxiety symptoms. George’s clients also demonstrate improved posture through increasing range of motion, as well as experiencing relief from muscle pain and tension.
George is also currently working as one of the main Sydney Remedial Massage Therapists with high profile teams like the Brisbane Roar, Melbourne Storm, Gold Coast Titans and Cricket Victoria.
He is also very passionate about children’s needs and volunteers his time and is part of the support team with The Chain Reaction Challenge Foundation that raises money for children’s charities. They include The Starlight Foundation, AEIOU Foundation and the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute. Has also volunteered at the 2015 City to Surf for The National Breast Cancer Foundation and UNHCR.
